at the river today i met a dog named harvey
he was a labrador and he was barking
there are so many dogs that i want
arms behind my back and my hands are locked

when i was six years old i wrote that i wanted a mansion with a hundred dogs inside
when i was six years old i thought that was a realistic goal
when i was six years old i thought all that glitters is gold
but now i know that having one hundred dogs would be a pain in the ass

i feel the breeze and the waves rolling toward me
i feel a lot better about this thing
